- The Itinerary :
The adventure begins with a transfer from Taliouine to the village of Tagmoute, located in the Ait Amrane Valley. This short drive of about 1 hour (38 km on road and 3 km on a dirt path) takes you through several Berber villages, where you’ll witness the traditional stone architecture and terraced farming. Along the way, take time to stop and interact with the locals.
Upon arrival in Tagmoute, you will start your first hike to the village of Atougha, where you will stay with a local family for the night. This evening will provide a wonderful introduction to the culture and lifestyle of the region.

- Accommodation: Overnight stay in a local home in Atougha
After breakfast, begin the day’s trek with a gentle climb from Atougha to the village of Imzilne, renowned for its blacksmiths. Continuing onwards, you’ll arrive at Tizgui, a picturesque village situated at 2300 meters. Here, you will set up your bivouac camp in a stunning location, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by the natural beauty of the Anti Atlas mountains.

On the final day of your trek, explore the verdant valley of Tizgui and its fascinating troglodyte granary. As you continue through several villages along the Ait Oubial Valley, the trail will lead you to the Tislit Gorges. These gorges are known for their striking formations of conglomerate towers, providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
At the end of the hike, you’ll be welcomed into a local home for a final cultural experience before a local transport transfer brings you back to Taliouine.
