Begin your journey with a scenic drive through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, stopping in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” for its alpine charm. Continue to Midelt, where you’ll enjoy lunch with a backdrop of mountains. Journey through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and fortified villages, before arriving in Merzouga. End the day with a camel trek through the dunes, reaching your luxury desert camp in time for a traditional dinner and live Berber music under the stars.
Wake up to a mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, set out to explore the Merzouga region. Visit a nomadic family to learn about their traditional lifestyle, and explore the village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music. In the afternoon, take an off-road adventure to witness the breathtaking desert landscapes. Return to your camp for a relaxing evening around the fire, enjoying another night beneath the clear desert sky.
After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the desert and begin the journey back to Fes. Stop in Rissani to explore its bustling market, known for its vibrant displays of local crafts and produce. Continue through the Ziz Valley, capturing stunning views of the palm groves. Arrive in Fes by the evening, where your journey concludes.
