Journey south through the Ziz Valley, renowned for its palm groves, heading toward the vast expanse of the Sahara Desert. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and take a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to your desert camp. Spend the night in a tented camp under the stars, with traditional Berber food and entertainment.
After a sunrise camel ride, travel to the Draa Valley, known for its kasbahs and oases. Visit the ancient Berber villages that dot the valley, and enjoy the peaceful landscapes. Spend the night in a local guesthouse, where you can enjoy the quiet charm of the valley.
Continue to Ait Benhaddou, a famous UNESCO World Heritage site known for its traditional earthen architecture. Explore the ancient kasbahs and enjoy lunch before heading to Ouarzazate. The city, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” is home to the Atlas Film Studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Fes, traveling through the High Atlas Mountains. Pass through the Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving back in Fes in the evening.
