- The Itinerary :
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech as you journey towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, you will visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and continue across the scenic Ouarzazate area. After a lunch break, you will pass through the lush Rose Valley before reaching your destination in the Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy a restful overnight stay at a local hotel.
The day starts with a scenic drive through the Dades Valley towards the small village of Boumalen. As you continue, you’ll cross the expansive arid plateau leading to the magnificent Toudgha Gorge, where you’ll take a short walk to appreciate its stunning beauty. Afterward, you’ll head to Tinjdad and Erfoud, where you’ll have the chance to see ancient irrigation systems and fossil stones. Your journey then takes you to Merzouga, where you’ll meet your camel caravan for a unique experience across the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the night in a nomadic camp, enjoying a traditional dinner and watching the stunning desert sunset.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, you’ll meet your driver and continue your journey. The route will take you through the Tafilalt Oasis and across the Eastern High Atlas Mountains. After lunch, you will visit the old mines in the region before heading to Midelt, where you will spend the night in either a Berber house or a local hotel.
On the final day of your adventure, you’ll drive through the Middle Atlas mountain range, passing lush forests and the largest granary in Morocco, located in the Algharb Plain. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Cascades Waterfalls before making your way back to Marrakech, where the tour will conclude.
